1. Tour Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your Hotel. Our guide will greet you at the airport outside the luggage claim area, holding a sign with your name on it.
Day 02 Beijing (Breakfast + Lunch)
Tour to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City (the Imperial Palace) and the Summer Palace. Optional program in the evening: Beijing Duck Dinner and the Peking Opera.

Tiananmen Square: Covering an area of 440,000 square meters, it is the "heart" of Beijing and even China, with many other solemn and important architectures of China around it. The name of the square comes from the Tian'anmen Gate (means the Gate of Heaven Peace in Chinese), which is found on the north side of the square. The emperors used Tian'anmen as the place for issuing royal edicts or for important celebration activities.
Forbidden City: It was once served as the royal palace of 24 Emperors from Ming (1368-1644) to Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. With a rich cultural past and numerous rare treasures, it is the must-see for Beijing tours. The Forbidden City is located in the center of the city, near to Tian'anmen Square. It has been made a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1987.
Summer Palace: Covering an area of 2.9 square kilometers, it is the largest and best-preserved royal garden existing in China, 3/4 of the garden is covered by water. The Summer Palace came into existence early in the 1750s and had once been a summer resort for the emperors. Mainly dominated by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, it is a large landscape garden. Inside the Summer Palace there are exquisite buildings: bridges, pavilions, halls, palaces and temples. In 1998, it was listed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO.
Beijing Roasted Duck: A famous must-try gourmet cuisine of Beijing. The roasted duck is prized for its tempting shining color, crispy skin and tender meat.
Peking Opera: A popular traditional Chinese opera with a history of about 200 years. It represents the finest combination of literature, music, dance, martial arts, fine arts, acrobatics and many other arts available.
Day 03 Beijing (Breakfast + Lunch)
Take an excursion to the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. See the appearance of the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) at a distance.

Badaling Great Wall: The best preserved part of the Ming dynasty (1368 - 1644) Great Wall.
Ming Tombs: The mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. The mausoleums have been perfectly preserved.
Day 04 Beijing - Lhasa (Breakfast + Lunch)
Tour to the Temple of Heaven. Transfer to the airport for flight to Lhasa. Pick up from Lhasa airport and transfer to hotel.

Temple of Heaven: Completed in 1420, it was the most sacred space in which the emperor performed the most important sacrifices and rites. Occupying an area of 273 hectares, it has been regarded as a Taoist temple, its layout layout reflects the Confucian worldview. The principle buildings include the Altar of Prayer for Good Harvests, Imperial Vault of Heaven and Circular Mound Altar.
Day 05 Lhasa (Breakfast + Lunch)
After a leisurely breakfast, we proceed on a guided tour of the Potala Palace, the Sera Monastery, and the Norbulingka.

Potala Palace: The symbol of Lhasa and even Tibet, it stands on the Red Hill overlooking the city of Lhasa. Potala Palace was first built in 7 century by Tibetan king Songtsan Gampo as a gift to his wife Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty. It covers an area of 36 thousand square meters, and was listed into the World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994.

Sera Monastery: A representative of the Yellow Sect monasteries of Tibetan Buddhism, it was founded in 1419. Located 3 kilometers in the northern suburb of Lhasa, the monastery covers an area of 115,000 square meters. Wonderful murals, scriptures written in gold powder, statues, and scent cloth can be found in the halls of its main buildings.
Norbulingka: Built in 18th century, it was Dalai Lama's summer palace from 1751 to 1959. Norbulingka covers an area of 360,000 square meters, with 374 rooms. It is situated in the west of Lhasa, meaning Jewel Park in Tibetan. It is the largest man-made garden in Tibet, there are some fabulous murals fusing Tibetan history and myth in the palace.
Day 06 Lhasa (Breakfast + Lunch)
After breakfast, we tour to the Jokhang Temple, the Drepung Monastery, the Tibet Museum and visit the Barkhor Street.

Jokhang Temple: Situated in the center of Lhasa, it is the most ancient monastery in Tibet and the ultimate destination for Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims. The Jokhang Temple was built in the 7th century and was the first temple built by Songtsen Campo to commemorate the arrival of Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty 1,300 years ago. Famous for its exquisite architecture and vivid mural paintings, the temple is included on UNESCO's World Heritage list in 2000.
Drepung Monastery: The monastery covers an area of 250,000 square meters; it is the largest of all Tibetan monasteries, and is also the most important monastery of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. Founded in 1416, the Drepung Monastery used to be the palace of the Dalai Lamas before the reconstruction of the Potala palace.
Tibet Museum: Covering an area of 54,000 square meters, it is the first modern museum in Tibet. With a nice soothing music and lighting throughout, the museum is home for a rich collection of prehistoric cultural relics including Buddha statues, Thangka pictures, gold albums, imperial jade seals, Tibetan handicrafts, costumes, jewellery, music and ritual instruments.

Barkhor Street: The oldest street in Lhasa. It is a circular street with a history of over 1,300 years, where you can see best-preserved traditional residential styles and Tibet customs. The street is a must-see for tourists to Lhasa,
Day 07 Lhasa - Xi'an (Breakfast + Lunch)
Transfer to the airport for flight to Xi'an. Pick up from airport then transfer to hotel. visit the Ancient City Wall. Optional program in the evening: Dumpling dinner.

Xi'an Ancient City Wall: The first landmark visitors will encounter in Xi'an is the ancient city wall, which stretches round the old city. The northern side runs parallel to the railway. Xi'an was originally a walled city, and even today the wall is considered a landmark dividing the city into the inner part and the outer part. The city wall is massive - tall, long and thick. The South Gate and North Gate are the two main entrances to the inner city. The city itself is neatly arranged along the city wall.

Dumpling: A traditional and popular food looks like shoe-shaped gold and silver ingots so when people eat it during festivals they really hope it could bring fortune and good luck to them, and this, of course, is their best wishes.
Day 08 Xi'an (Breakfast + Lunch)
Visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Forest of Stone Steles Museum. Optional program in the evening: Tang Dynasty Dinner Show.

Terracotta Warriors Museum: The terracotta warriors were made for Qin Shihuang (259-210BC),also known as The First Emperor, and with his mausoleum lying only 1.5km, (0.9 miles) away it is assumed the army was made to accompany him on his journeys after death. This army of more than 6,000 life size terracotta warriors, with horses and chariots lined up facing east and ready for battle, is one of the world's most remarkable archaeological finds.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda: It was originally built in 652 of Tang Dynasty. Between 701 and 704, the original five-storey pagoda was reconstructed into a seven-storey, 64-meter-high Buddhist temple. What visitors can see today is the one repaired in Ming and Qing Dynasty.
Forest of Stone Steles Museum: Collections here are also of high value for exploring Chinese calligraphy history. Here stand the many tablets engraved with works of many outstanding calligraphers through ages.
Tang Dynasty Dinner Show: Tang dynasty Dinner Show is a performance of Chang'an music and dances that was originated in the Tang dynasty of Chinese history over a thousand years ago. It is performed by the Tang dynasty Song & Dance Troupe, a branch of the Shaanxi Provincial Song & Dance Troupe. The musicians present the music with the Tang-dynasty-style musical instruments and the dancers wear a Tang dynasty-style robe with long white silk sleeves. Accompanied with dinner, you will enjoy a national art that reflects the glory and richness of the Tang Dynasty era.
Day 09 Xi'an - Guilin (Breakfast + Lunch)
Visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum and the Great Mosque. Transfer to the airport for flight to Guilin. Our guide will meet you at Guilin airport and transfer to the hotel.

Shaanxi Provincial History Museum: The museum boasts one of the richest collections of ancient artifacts in all of China - more than 370,000 historical and cultural relics,
Great Mosque: Originally founded in 742, Xi'an's principal mosque is one of the largest and best-preserved Muslim sanctuaries in China. This is one of four mosques in Xi'an that serve the city's 60,000 Moslem residents.
Day 10 Guilin - Li River Cruise -Yangshuo (Breakfast + Lunch)
Cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo which takes 3-4 hours, enjoy the most beautiful landscape in China, have lunch on board. Disembark your ship when arriving Yangshuo, an ancient small town which famous for beautiful scenery and vast collections of China products.
Day 11 Yangshuo (Breakfast + Lunch)
Bicking tour from Yangshuo to Yulong River and the nearby countryside, visit a local peasant's home, explore the breathtaking scenery in Yangshuo. Or today is free for you.
Day 12 Yangshuo - Guilin - Hongkong (Breakfast + Lunch)
Drive back to Guilin. Tour to the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Transfer to the airport for flight to Hongkong.

Reed Flute Cave: Of the many caves in the Guilin area, Reed Flute in the northwestern suburbs is the most famous. A 500 m. (164 ft.) trail winds past unusual stalactite and stalagmite formations which colored lights cause to resemble coral, agate, amber, and jade.
Seven Star Park: This lovely park in the eastern section of the city is reached via a covered bridge across the Li River. The park has a small zoo, which features a panda, and a bonsai garden.
Elephant Trunk Hill: Elephant Trunk Hill is located between the southeast of Guilin City and the western bank of the Li River. It is the Guilin's best known sight and owns a charming flavor in sunrise and sunset arousing your imagination.

All normal sightseeing tours in each city with English-speaking guide and admission fees where applicable. Our guide will not fly with you from one city to another. Upon your arrival at each city, a new local guide and driver will pick you up, be with you for local tour and see you off after you finish the itinerary of each city. The cruise shore excursion is in-group assigned by the cruise company if your tour include Yangtze River cruise.
7. Insurance
